Way too quiet

No news about anything much happening today. Zip. This is the time when the most upsetting of events usually occur - when they are least expected. What is in today's Friday media shit-drop anyway? Way too quiet...

An earthquake? Has Maurice Williamson approved the sale of the South Island to a Sino-German consortium? Someone ridiculously famous has died? The Higgs-Boson has been discovered in the process creating a time warp? Unsettling silence. No, I don't like it at all.

No news today? well let me assist you, we have the story of brave police justifying dislocating a 56 yr old woman's elbow, seemingly because she was walking away from them and not obeying commands in a language she didn't understand: http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10784540

Ah well, I guess the Herald can recycle something, like that 3 week old traffic crash story that Bomber blogged about...

Or I guess they can just fabricate something.
