Waiariki poll in context

Todays Te Karere digipoll showing Te Ururoa Flavell at 56% to Annette Sykes 22% in the electorate of Waiariki should be put in context. It was taken shortly after Sykes candidacy was announced and it's a 400 landline poll from the Maori electoral roll in an electorate that has few landlines and deep poverty.

So in context, Annette Sykes has 22% support even when her main voter support base aren't included in the poll. The voice of the poor is always under represented.
