Racists marching up Queen St

Far-right group plans Auckland anti-Asian march
A far-right Christchurch group is planning a "massive anti-Asian rally" in Queen St after its recruiting drive in Auckland, its leader, Kyle Chapman, told the Herald yesterday.

Are New Zealanders concerned that we will replace a Washington Consensus that none of us consented to with a Beijing Consensus that none of us consent to? Of course, who wants a communist regime who arrests bloggers, artists (where is Ai Weiwei!) or arrest Christians worshipping Easter having any more influence in our economy? Likewise we don't want to be crushed by this Free Trade Deal with America which will end our economic sovereignty, but the way you deal with those concerns is not an Asian pogrom!

How on earth can Kyle tell who is a NZ citizen and who is a Chinese communist infiltrator? He can't, so this isn't about resisting those influences, this is simply base ignorant racism in drag and deeply offensive to every New Zealander.

That said, I don't have a problem with white supremacists marching up Queen St the day before the General Election this year, this is a democracy. Every Citizen has the right to protest and we should cherish and rejoice right.

Just understand Kyle that I and many other Aucklanders will also be there to counter protest your ugly dirty vicious and divisive racist bullshit because that's our democratic right as well.
