Obama u-turn on Gitmo torture camps disgusting

It's so sick and ugly that Obama has U-turned on closing Gitmo because American's elected pro-torture Republicans back into a position of control. So stupid are American's, they blamed Obama for the economic meltdown Bush had built and they labelled Obama Health care as 'socialism'.

Seriously, how stupid are Americans? Do they even know what the fuck socialism is?

Obama has been forced to keep Gitmo open because only in Guantanamo can his kangaroo military courts do their work without that annoying due process thing getting in the way.

Take international man of mystery Khalid Shiekh Mohammed who gave his confession after being tortured 183 times. Brothers. Sisters. Whanau. European NZers. White mofos. It doesn’t matter where you sit on the political spectrum, I think we can all see can we not, putting a man on trial for his life, based on a confession given after being tortured 183 times is the sort of twisted sick shit that CIA client dictators pull. This is how we fight for freedom and democracy is it? Death penalty Kangaroo court trials where confession taken under torture is accepted testimony? If anyone else was pulling this shit, they would be rightfully denigrated, America does it under the guise of democracy and freedom and it’s okay.

Folks, torturing someone 183 times to get a confession out of them doesn’t protect our freedom or democracy, it betrays and destroys our freedom and democracy. It’s these sorts of double standards that make people fly planes into buildings, it doesn’t protect us from them.

Obama's wretched U-turn reminds everyone that there is no way to make progress in America while the Tea Party movement has as much influence as they do, it's like asking rational decision making from mentally ill meth addicts, and as for the conditions Manning is being held in, shame on Obama and shame on America...

Clinton Aide Resigns After Criticizing Treatment of Manning
P.J. Crowley, the State Department's chief spokesman, has resigned over his controversial comments about the White House's treatment of Bradley Manning.
The Resignation is reported to have come under pressure from the White House.

Bradley Manning is The Army private undergoing solitary confinement in Quantico, notes CNN.
He is suspected of leaking sensitive State Department cables to Wikileaks. Last week, Crowley had termed Defense Department's treatment of Manning as "ridiculous and counterproductive and stupid."

His comments were highly criticized by officials and thus taking full responsibility for his remarks, he has tendered his Resignation.

He continues to say that his comments were the result of his concerns for the Obama Administration because of Manning's mistreatment. He made it clear that he was deeply concerned about the issue because this could undermine President Obama's efforts at changing the world's mind-set about the treatment of Prisoners in the United States.

...the United States of Torture doesn't protect your freedom or democracy anymore than electrodes to your genitalia protects your civil liberties.
