Welcome to your global warming future

So we know that global warming will bring about more extreme weather patterns, and let's have a look at them...

Pakistan: Millions in despair as floods spread
The United Nations said the disaster was, in terms of damage caused and the people in need, now "on a par" with the 2005 Kashmir earthquake which killed 73,000. Even heavier deluges are forecast for coming days.

Little hope for China flood survivors
Hopes are fading of finding more survivors from flooding and landslides in northwestern China, as teams worked to stave off disease outbreaks, three days after the disaster that killed at least 702 people. More than 1000 people were listed as missing, but with suffocating mud, stones and debris covering many houses, the chances of finding anyone alive were considered slight.

Wildfires envelop Moscow in ghostly shroud of smoke
The fires, which are raging across much of western Russia, come after weeks of extraordinary heat - daily highs of up to 38C - and practically no rain.

Floods in China, Pakistan and wild fires in Russia, and let's not forget this little gem...

Giant iceberg could pose threat to oil, shipping
It's been a summer of near Biblical climatic havoc across the planet, with wildfires raging in Russia and floods claiming lives across Asia. But the moment the Petermann glacier cracked - giving birth to the biggest Arctic ice island in half-century - it may symbolise a warming world like no other.

...perhaps we can house all the climate deniers on this new massive iceberg? Global warming is being caused by man made pollution, we are seeing the results of this in front of our eyes, it is interrupting the agricultural calender and causing vast numbers of climate refugees.

We need to ignore the climate deniers, show them the intellectual contempt they deserve and force change because politicians only listen when they have to.

' Nine nations have so far set their all-time temperature records in 2010, including Russia (111 degrees), Niger (118), Sudan (121), Saudi Arabia and Iraq (126 apiece), and Pakistan, which also set the new all-time Asia record in May: a hair under 130 degrees.'

And this should concern those who are only inspired by their wallet...

And this should scare the shit out of all of us...

So what you're implying is that fires, floods and melting icebergs never ocurred in the past and that because they have suddenly ravaged the earth global warming is to blame.

Your hysteria is biblical in its intensity.

Bomber, will legislating and taxing make the temperature go down?

Perhaps taking your head out of the sand and having a more benign footprint on the planet might, problem is muppets like you refute all science that might impact your decadent lifestyle. That leaves us with legislation.

No, swarms of locusts in Niger (http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/aug/01/niger-famine-food-crisis)and the floods in Pakistan are Biblical in their intensity.

Weather is not climate, Bummer, you budding totalitarian.

Next you'll be saying that global warming causes earthquakes like that CNN nutter.

So increased CO2 is to blame for flooding, fires and high temperatures in Moscow. And an iceberg

Off course this never happened when CO2 was lower did it.

Stop living in fear of weather events that have happened in the past, and will continue in the future.

CO2 is a plant food. And pointless ET schemes, like NZs, will do nothing at all to reduce it anyway.

"Weather is not climate, Bummer, you budding totalitarian."
Exactly...
'* June 2010 was the fourth consecutive warmest month on record (March, April, and May 2010 were also the warmest on record). This was the 304th consecutive month with a global temperature above the 20th century average. The last month with below-average temperature was February 1985.
* It was the warmest April–June (three-month period) on record for the global land and ocean temperature and the land-only temperature. The three-month period was the second warmest for the world’s oceans, behind 1998…'

'US National Atmospheric and Oceanic Administration´s yearly ´State of the Climate´ report. (There is a difference between climate and weather. Over-all global warming can occur even if there are very cold days and snowstorms. In fact, climate change can cause some places to get colder even if the earth´s average surface temperature increases.
http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/sotc/?report=global&year=2010&month=6&submitted=Get+Report

Not wanting to destroy the planet doesn't equal Totalitarianism, stop being sidelined by conspiracy theory and hypothetical political structures and focus on the science. Weather is not climate, but amazingly, climate can influence weather; you know, more humidity in the atmosphere, warmer oceans, that kind of thing...

"AND IT JUST KEEPS GETTING SO COLDER!
"
The Earth is a big place, surprisingly it even exists outside New Zealand in winter.

And here's a skeptics article on yet another AGW scare story mentioned above

http://wattsupwiththat.com/2010/07/31/walking-the-plank-ton/

The rising sea levels and all the other scare stories have been totally discredited. So the alarmists are making up a few more, to scare the gullible.

What's next I wonder. Or maybe just keep on repeating the old ones, as they are doing. Every flood and hot day etc is now evidence for AGW.

And CO2 is not pollution bomber. CO2 is not and never will be a pollutant. It is essential for life on earth.

Go for it, AAMC. You can take my steak dinners from my cold dead hands; better to die than live under the Dark Age eco-Marxist regime you want to drag us to.

The climate deniers, both teh foolish and those paid by the industry are a danger to themselves and the rest of us.

Ignorance is like that.

AAMC

1998 was the warmist months according to the satellite temperature records.

But this does not fit with the alarmists scare stories so you will likely ignore this inconvenient fact

See this excellent report pages 13 and 14

No, I want my children, and hopefully their children to have a viable place on this planet! Thing is, you'll eventually take those steak dinners out of your own hands, as is currently evident in the shining light of Free Market Capitalism, Wall Street. What has been proven so perfectly by the economy and the crisis in the American dream, is that all of you believers are still sold. And you have a similar religious belief that humans are at the center of the universe and nothing we do can have any negative impact on our environment. Meanwhile species go extinct, rain forests are felled and as long as YOU have steak on your plate, it's all good. You probably believe Jesus is the son of God too right?
You're greed will plunge us into the Dark Ages, not a moderate responsible existence!

3.62% of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere are CO2.

3.4% of CO2 in the atmosphere is from human activity.

Therefore human CO2 emissions are responsible for 0.12% of the total greenhouse gasses.

Quick, lets start taxing CO2 emissions. Guys I'm serious. If we tax it heavily enough and cripple the economy enough we might be able to cut human CO2 emissions down to only about 0.06% of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere. That's sure to stop our planet heating up. We didn't need a silly ol' economy anyway, with all the bankster bailouts and what not. Guys!

Let's not forget about the global warming also currently occurring in mars, as reported on by Nat Geo:

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2007/02/070228-mars-warming.html

Could it be the sun, rather than humans is the main force behind climate change?

Simple answer, AAMC: shoot all the progs. You, the journalists, the politicians, the whole frigging lot of you. Less people, less mouths to feed, less hot air coming out of your guilt-ridden eco-fascist let's live with the animals in the trees arsehole. Brilliant.

"You probably believe Jesus is the son of God too right?"

Atheist, unfortunately for you. It's harder for you to shove me into your precious little redneck category now, isn't it?
