Rodney couldn’t support women in dancing with the stars, women couldn’t support Rodney when he was prancing in bars

Minister faces axe after new Act revolt
Act minister Heather Roy is facing the axe from John Key's Administration today, after she is dumped by her parliamentary colleagues as deputy leader of Act.

ACT Party Deputy and Roger Douglas puppet, Heather Roy has been found guilty of undermining ACT Party leader Rodney Hide, which when you think about it isn’t very difficult because who the hell wants to prop up odious little Rodney Hide? Rodney couldn’t support women in dancing with the stars, women couldn’t support Rodney when he was prancing in bars, the sheer hypocrisy of the perk buster taking a massive taxpayer funded holiday with his girlfriend because he couldn’t stand being alone hasn’t helped the little general inspire the right wing freemarket nutbars in his party, so he’s turned to the Sensible Sentencing lynch mob nutbars to hold onto power. Freemarket Roger Douglas maniacs on the one hand vs the Public execution David Garrett fanatics on the other, it all sounds like a conspiracy of bad taste. ACT stopped being a serious political party trying to win 10% of the popular vote by opting for a sub 5% party vote plus electorate seat strategy playing to fringe issues like 3 strikes, climate denial and the perpetual hunt for the Nanny State monster.

I wish ACT all the best for their impending implosion of hate mongering fringe politics and pray to Allah each night they will all become unemployed and forced onto the dole where they can all see how spiteful their attacks on beneficiaries really has been.

ACT go bye bye now.

LOL that's how we on the right feel about Carter and Goff although having a major opposition party implode because its leader in a incompetent and unpopular technocrat is much more entertaining.

Good times

GRIN - Yep, but the difference of course is that Labour will still be in Parliament post 2011, ACT won't.

Great times.

At least Hide has an electorate seat, unlike your beloved greens.

LOL - is that all you got Dr 'Truth', cause we all know the Greens certainly WILL be in Parliament next year, where as ACT are increasingly looking like a trainwreck that won't make it. I'm not going to crow too much, it can't be an easy day for ACT supporters, but it could get worse - if the NIWA case DOES go to court (and Christ I hope it does) watching your climate denial bullshit get a kicking will make today seem like a good one for being a right winger.

You're making a number of very big assumptions there such as the National party won't be encouraging tactical voting in Epsom like they have in the past few elections.

At least ACT have a direct democratic mandate from an electorate unlike the Greens.

Which of coarse is why they have that electorate seat.
Put a strong National candidate against Hide and
then show me what support outside a minute fringe
of extremists Act really has Dr Truth. Don't worry,
I'm not nieve enough to believe that'll happen, but it does
put your assertions onto context.

Yes I'm sure National will want to be seen to be connected to ACT after the NIWA court case fiasco/implosion. Key would cut a deal with NZ First before he cuts another deal with Rodney, and Hide couldn't stay in a Government with Winston, but let's hope National show the good people of Epsom the contempt of not running a candidate, Rodney will need all the help he can get.

haha gossy.

The tactical advantage in voting for Hide was that you get some mps through on his coat-tails.

These ones, to be precise:

Garret
Roy
Douglas
Boscawen

Not exactly made of WIN.
