Another National Party Flip Flop

Does this Government actually stand for anything? The flip flop on mining environmental land, the flip flop on raising GST, the flip flop on ACC rape counselling, the flip flop on sending SAS troops back to Afghanistan and now the flip flop on booze.

Govt backs conscience vote on alcohol law
Justice Minister Simon Power says the Government will hold a conscience vote on the proposed change to the alcohol purchasing age.

What on earth does John Key actually stand for? It seems National have no idea what they are actually doing in Government.

Hey Anon, could you please just inform us all what the call back rate and weighting of those Polls you are holding up as proof of National's popularity, and whether those polls were cell phone or land line?

Cheers.

Its a cynical attempt to look concerned while pandering to big business. The answer to the problem of excessive alcohol use is to reduce availability. The fact the alcohol is available in every corner store is the issue. In times gone by you had to gone a long way during usual business hours if you wanted to by cheap liquor. Now you can swallow your six vodka cruisers or other horrible toxic swill in a can and then stagger up to the local dairy and buy six more for $10.00. Changing the age back to twenty will fix nothing.

Sure, as soon as you post the link backing up your assertion that Paula Bennett is paying out a settlement for breaches of privacy.

No? Too fucking bad so find out the information yourself then.

Sorry, are you laughing at your inability to backup your arguments with facts?
