A solid 82 minutes of listening to Michael Ruppert unravel the logic that the current system of massive over population and peak oil will conspire to collapse the current hegemony.

His chain smoking anger at predicting the economic crash and his ostracizing caused by his investigative journalism tying the CIA to drug smuggling makes the interview a soul searching analysis of Ruppert the man as well as the totality of the collapse he paints.

Being someone who follows these events closely, little of what he had to say surprised me, but his thoughts may shock those who never give a second thought to their life style or the ever increasing growth consumer culture model of capitalism that has granted them that life style.
