Haiti 'cursed' - US evangelist
The White House has slammed evangelist broadcaster Pat Robertson's remark that Haiti has been cursed. A devastating magnitude-7 earthquake hit the small island nation Tuesday. "It never ceases to amaze me that in times of amazing human suffering somebody says something that can be so utterly stupid," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said. The day after the earthquake, Robertson said Haiti has been "cursed" because of what he called a "pact with the devil" in its history. His spokesman said the comments were based on Voodoo rituals carried out before a slave rebellion against French colonists in 1791.
Those wacky evangelists' huh? It's always reassuring that at great moments of terrible destruction and human anguish someone can still blame the devil.

God is sooo stupid, how does he expect people to learn what's bad if he waits 300+ years to punish them.
Fran asks would Minto be pig-headed enough to turn around a nuclear powered or armed carrier and I think there is a difference with the question of propulsion.If they were coming to our aid?
First things first.In reply to the laws of war, the french civilians killed by friendly fire during d-day out-numbered the brits killed in the blitz according to anthony beevor in his d-day book.
Second point the legality of the war on terror.I think its legit as the first resolution 1441 (2002) was the 4th november on IRAQ.
The second resolution refers to Afghanistan 1444 (2002) 27th November 2002 so the assertion that Iraq came first is correct.
The first resolution is for scud missile type attacks of 150 kilometres ballistic long range missiles.

On (November 14-20) the listener had an alleged plagiarist from the university of auckland on the cover and in the next issue (November 21-27) it mentioned the university's pathetic response in the editorial.Then much to my chagrin as a student leader who oftentimes feels like he is being stalked (on talkback with university rugby club ad's on murray deakers show) by the same people who trespassed me for over a decade you ran a full page advert from them on the inside cover virtually; (December 19-25).Very disaapointing behaviour by you both!
