Paul Henry, Bill English and Air NZ all in the same boat

Talking of cultural norms in a teacup, Paul Henry managed to lower the bar this week from Michael Laws of all people. Not content to offend those who work with the Mentally Ill by claiming Susan Boyle was a bit retarded, Paul went a step further by attacking the Intellectually Handicapped Children association for being offended. Michael Laws gets into public fights with children wanting him to spell Whanganui with an H, Paul Henry goes one better by beating up on the IHC.

Get in there Paul, give those people who work with Intellectually Handicapped Children a right royal romper stomper, use their wheelchairs on them, give them the bash!

Next year on Breakfast Paul Henry will continue to hold the powerful to account by bullying lepers, attacking fat chicks and pointing out how smelly Arabs are.

Someone else’s apology that sounded a bit not like an apology was Minister of Finance Bill English’s response to having his limo parked in a disabled parking spot while he got a haircut.

National Party Dominatrix Michelle Boag roared at media when they called for a response defending his Limo in a disabled park. Michelle argued Bill English was ‘virtually crippled by back pain”. Meaning that he virtually was disabled, so he could use the disabled park. Virtually virtuously.

At least Bill English’s apology wasn’t the only disingenuous one this week. Air NZ’s Erebus apology still didn’t seem to express the appropriate triteness from a Company that originally attempted to shift the blame to their own dead pilots rather than an honest appraisal of their own weak performance and their ultimate responsibility in it’s crash.
