Toll Roads and stupid NZers

BHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Did you see all those Aucklanders stuck in traffic trying to use that bullshit Toll Road north of Auckland? BHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Personally I’m astounded that NZers allowed these bullshit Toll Roads which is a first step to privatize the roads with these private public partnerships. Look at the Cross City Tunnel in Sydney, that was a PPP, and went bankrupt owing $687 million, Macquarie Bank in Indiana and Chicargo was a PPP and has built toll roads that will be tolled for 100 years while in Britain the PPP plan to fix London’s underground ended up costing the Government $5 billion after the companies went broke. Not concerned yet? Seeing as the National Party adviser on roads is Jim McLay who also just happens to head the Australian Toll Road company Macquarie in NZ, we should all be very concerned.

But still, pretty funny about all those Aucklanders in a traffic jam on a Toll Road supposed to be quicker. User pays is funny when the payer gets used.

Nothing wrong with PPP. We need more of them to develop New Zealand infrastructure.

Yeah well, that plan worked well didn't it ... nothin' like a toll road to speed things up.

Why so surprised that so many kiwis used it - i'm over being surprised by the stupidity of kiwis these days

I drove that road twice last holiday weekend. It was brilliant. I can get to the bach up north about 20-30 minutes faster. Sweet.
