Did the Cops arrest the right Kahui?

King worried at what tests on Kahui twins would reveal, court told
The mother of Chris and Cru Kahui seemed only interested in finding out if tests could pinpoint when her twin sons received their fatal injuries, a Child, Youth and Family worker has told an Auckland court. The woman, who has name suppression, gave the evidence in the High Court at Auckland trial of Chris Kahui, who is charged with the murder of his three-month old sons in June 2006. The social worker told the court a meeting with medical staff who told Kahui and Macsyna King that their children were fatally injured, stood out in her memory. Ms King asked three times if tests would show what time the bleeding occurred, she said. "It's something that stood out, she was quite insistent in finding out when the injuries, the bleeding in the brain, occurred." Ms King dominated the meetings, doing all the talking, at one point talking over Kahui and preventing him from taking part, she said.
I don’t know about you, but the more I read about the Kahui case, the more I wonder if the cops arrested the wrong one, Chris doesn’t seem like a very bright guy who was dominated by a much older and angrier Macsyna King who has come across as a woman who reacted in ways to her babies death that seem very questionable. The evidence is pretty damning and seeing as the Police knew what the evidence was one wonders if the Police charged Chris on purpose first so that they could nail her in an inevitable second trial if Chris is found innocent.

"The evidence is pretty damning and seeing as the Police knew what the evidence was one wonders if the Police charged Chris on purpose first so that they could nail her in an inevitable second trial if Chris is found innocent." Why would they waste time and resources doing that? If they had enough evidence on King they would have charged her.
This whole Kahui case has been a bloody farce right from the start. If the cops knew all this evidence than why didn't they charge Macsyna King in the first place? Or why not charge both parents? I will be very surprised if Chris Kahui is found guilty. This whole case is weird and I fear that we will never really know for sure who killed the twins.
feels like we're getting set up for the sequel...
...get the plot straight, the characters fleshed out, have a cliffhanger ending then DING DING round 2
maybe if they stretch it out long enough it'll become a distractionary election issue to scare whitey into voting anti brown and green...
Thats a bit of stretch isn't it?
Surely if they had any evidence on Masyna King they would have charged her too?
Lets wait for all the evidence to be presented before jumping to conclusions shall we?
Hey Bomber, isn't it kinda strange given how broke and poverty stricken you claim beneficiaries are in this country that this typical example managed to spend so much money on booze, drugs and partying?
And despite both being horrible parents who were encouraged into breeding by the welfare state we live in they still managed to find enough money left over to home, cloth and feed themselves and their children.
P.S Bomber, we have been waiting for over a week now for the conclusive and damning evidence you claim to have that prisons in New Zealand are racist.
If you could take the time to post that evidence that clearly shows how and in what manner they are in this thread it would be great, ta.
Both Kahui "parents" are nothing but scum.
Animals of this kind should be sterilised.
Its a shocking dirty disgrace. Why have they not admitted to their wrong doing? How could you not own up to something like this? These parents need to be subjected to an American intelligence gathering exercise and the truth exorcised from them.
It wouldn't surprise me if the mother is guilty but, having said that, the media are certainly portraying her to be the evil one of the pair aren't they? Who knows what is going on in the courtroom that's not coming out in the news? Could be quite a different story from in there...

Been there, done that - the two gaurds who left NZ in the Sunday Star Times article where they claimed they left because the prisons were RACIST, violent and corrupt, I think two Prisons staff who came here thinking NZ was a great place to work and who left claiming it was racist. I also posted that the Police have had to radically change their interview process after it was found the old interview process was geared only to force a confession, while the new system is aimed at asking questions that get evidence that can lead an inquirey - the old interview system helps explain why so many brown faces go inside - especially if they are being questioned by one of those psychologically absent cops. Oh and I also pointed out a report where many brown people don't bother appealing because they don't believe they will get a fair hearing - so the perception of racism is certainly there.
I have it on excellent authority that Chris is highly likely to get off due to reasonable doubt. There is no compelling scientific evidence as to the time of death and there are multiple witnesses to suggest that Macsyna did it. However, trying her instead is no less problematic because the exact same doubt applies due to multiple witnesses who suggest Chris did it (enough to send him to trial). The rest of the family either doesn't know or, more likely, isn't saying anything. Obviously Police thought Chris was the better bet for a conviction but odds are nobody will be held to account for killing those babies. Baring compelling new evidence suggesting she did it a second trial is unlikely.
I cant imagine the peer of them getting away with it? Imagine the craze that would follow (bnot just from me) if both of them walked away "innocent".

Pretty much on the money I'd say.

Haha no seriously, thats not your conclusive and damning evidence is it?
You have two bitter ex prison guards who worked in what, one prison for a limited length of time and thats your conclusive, widespread damning evidence, oh boy Bomber, I didn't expect much from you but I did expect better than that.
Incidentally did they say it was racist towards white inmates or white guards or specify in what way they believed it was racist?
And now your somehow making another stretch that Maori and Polynesians are more likely to be in jail because the evil white cops force them into confessions? Nothing to do with them committing more crime or anything of course.
Do you honestly believe some of the things you write or are you just playing devils advocate?
Bomber - we could easily get many more than 2 people to say you are racist (and a bigot), does that mean its true!

Bosco can you show us one slight shred of evidence that the prison system isn't racist or corrupt, maybe you like you share from your vast infinite experience, of maybe time served? just how wholesome the prison system is in NZ.

Bosco - I think the inquirey into the allegations show they were taken seriously, but none of the people wanted to talk to the Prison Authority as they didn't believe in the system - and no I don't think it's a stretch at all to point out the questioning methods of the Police - if they based on forcing a confession rather than gathering evidence and if the cops are psychologically absent and they just start seeing brown faces as guilty then yes it is proof of an intrinsic racism - add to0 this that fact brought up by the innocence project that Maori and PI don't bother to appeasl because they perceive the system as racist and yes, I think I can make the case easily.
Nice to see you back Hated
