If someone like Bomber says it looks like the police were right to be concerned, then methinks it is a wee bit too early for people to be planning meetings to show solidarity with those people arrested. Do they REALLY want to be showing solidarity before they know the full story?

let me rephrase - I think most NZers will think the actions by the police are justified IF the allegations are confirmed - but I don't think for one second that any of them are terrorists any more than I think anyone who plays with guns are. Let's be clear, I don't think anyone of them is a terrorist, if you follow anyone long enough you'll hear them say something stupid and I think that is what is happening here.

Kinda agree there, as long as all the trials etc are open I think that if you have a stockpile of weaponary off no peaceful means (i.e. tracer rounds, large caliber semi automatic rifles and the like) then if you are caught saying some radical sh1t then you have most definetly crossed a line.

I thought they would have hired Buchanan as a security consultant. he's out of work, goes on iron man competitions and the herald said that a wide range of nationalities were involved including americans.

Hey I'm born, bred and live in Te Urewera. Never seen nor heard any of this. Fancy that - up and down the Whakatane River and never even knew that it was filled with terroist camps. Must of been one of those ones where they asked me if I wanted a cuppa tea and something to eat. Had to come out to find out all about it.
But hey lets knock these troublesome Maoris back, they're getting too uppity and have forgotten their place. They need another reminder of the power the crown has - obviously they didn't learn their lesson with Rua the Prophet or Te Kooti.
