Moore blasts PM's 'politics of personal destruction'- Yawn
Former Labour Party leader Mike Moore has let fire with a searing criticism of Helen Clark, comparing the Prime Minister's "politics of personal destruction" with the highly divisive premiership of Sir Robert Muldoon. Writing in today's Herald in an opinion piece entitled "A Return to Muldoonism?" Mr Moore says he expects to see cartoons of Helen Clark showing her morphing into the former National leader, who was prime minister from 1975 until 1984.

Oh do shut up Mike, are you still bitter after all these years with Helen toppling you as leader? Only a Trade Unionist could hold a grudge that long, except of course for the fact that Mike has gone to the far, far, far right after his WTO metamorphose, but I do miss him, those long winded speeches he would make on the hoof where he would connect surf lifesaving in NZ with rice production in China, breathtaking and terrifying at the same time – in the words of David Lange, “God knows what Mike would have done if he had run the country again”.

God indeed.

Wow, Mike's got you all pissy hasn't he? Talk about crushing of dissent, how dare someone criticize our elected leader! Have you got anything to say about what Moore's comments or are you just going to attack his character? Crikey he hasn't just to the right or even the far right but the far far far right! Does that make him a nazi's nazi's nazi? Or if you go that far to the right does it end up coming back round to the left at some point?

Classic case of shooting the messenger. I guess all those other commentators saying pretty much the same thing all have sinister agendas to? Whatever. If you want to believe that the current Labour strategy is addressing NZs problems, doing devastating damage to John Key, and moving Labour up in the polls then by all means carry on.

Wow - don't you want to shit on Labour real bad - hey I'm no fan of Helen, I don't vote labour, she put my mate behind bars for sedition, you need to go to Public Address for Labour Party fawning, I just think Mike is the least credible source to criticise Labour, but if you need to get all hot under the collar because you love John Key so much (kissy kissy), by all means carry on.

Wow, you must want to shit on John Key real bad if you think that anyone who is critical of Clarke is a member of the John Key appreciation society.

"but if you need to get all hot under the collar because you love John Key so much (kissy kissy), by all means carry on."

Mike Moore was less than kissy kissy about John Key, or did you not bother to read that part?

"I just think Mike is the least credible source to criticise Labour"

Really? Why? He was a PM of the party at the same time as its current senior cabinet ministers were there, he probably knows a thing or two about the inner workings of Labour.
If Jim Bolger came out and said similar things about John Key and the National party would you be so quick to dismiss his comments? I doubt it.
Moore has also said he wanted Clark returned to power at the next election and would be fundraising for the Labour Party. Gee how dear he point out where he thinks Labour are going wrong, who does he think he is?

Anyway do you actually have any comment on what Moore said or are you just going to attack his credibility?

Yawn - its troll feeding time again, hey try and put italics in what you are cut and pasting, it makes your attempt at a point flow better,

Not really, John Key hasn't put any actual policy up other than Simon Powers tired 'law and order' bullshit to really critique the man. So I'll wait to shit on him when he actually has anything worthy of shitting on, try again...

We are talking about your post here, not Mikes

Someone who went off to the WTO (does that count as a limo ride to damascus?) and was about as effective as tits on a bull as a PM and who got axed by the current PM who he has a grudge against, you're right, where were my manners - Mike is an impeccable source on the Labour Party...

Hey the man is a king of back handed compliments, so what?

Anyway do you actually have any comment on what Moore said or are you just going to attack his credibility?
Who are you, his press agent? Sure Helen is a viscious player who after years of back to the wall politics rising through the old boys club of the Labour Party has played hard, hard, hard ball - wow there's a newsflash.

"wow there's a newsflash." So, why did you bother posting the Moore comments in the first place? You are weirdly inconsistent.
