Shipton and Schollum in Prison
Just spoke with some prisoners in Mt Eden prison, apparently Shipton and Schollum are in ‘super segs’ – as far from the prison population as possible and that they were in Mt Eden, hidden in the prison hospital and moved out on Friday night to another prison. Word inside is that there is a call to beat or hurt Shipton and Schollum with many prisoners lining up for the hit on them as a badge of honour.
In a weird way karma works doesn’t it?

No, if you really want karma to work make sure that 'other prison' is Arohata or Christchurch Women's - I think there's a few inmates there who'd like to share their very personal perspectives on rape with Messers Schollum and Shipton.
Vigilante justice - guys beating up rapists - will just reinforce the culture of violence that is part of the problem. This is not the kind of justice or support that women rape victims need IMO.

Inmates smashing up those particular pigs would be a great idea. I am close to being a pacifist, but not quite it would seem.
I would push through to the front to get my boot in hard. Remember there is a hardly one inmate who has not been beaten and abused by family and police, alike.
Those nasty bullies and those tiny teenagers, it makes me sick.
I have never felt more outrage toward New Zealanders in my life.
It is time to review this country's laws, and interpretations of name suppression.
Criminal lawyers and judges are so loud in saying we must let the professional decide what you know.
If we had the usual press freedom of other English speaking countries, this sorry performance would have not been possible.

Where does the real blame lie.
These men did what worked that’s all, if they had not been encouraged and promoted they would have either -
a) slummed around at the bottom of the ranks doing menial tasks with no hope of promotion.
b) left the service and found somewhere their bullying would be rewarded.
c) modified their behaviour.
You really are missing the point, there are hundreds (thousands probably) more like this lot out there, especially working in government departments, most will continue to prosper.
