Protesting the right wing way

Rightwingers don’t really walk on streets protesting, or support gigs that help the world, no they get together and bitch on-line…
Online protest at election spending
An online petition protesting against the validation of unlawful election spending has won the support of more than 12,000 people in 48 hours.
The petition, started by National Party member Blair Mulholland, calls the legislation an attack on democracy and asks Governor-General Anand Satyanand to withhold the royal assent.
The retrospective legislation was rushed through Parliament on Wednesday night after Auditor-General Kevin Brady's much-awaited report into the use of taxpayer funds for the 2005 election.
…isn’t it funny, when the Government pushed through confiscation via legislation under the Seabed and Foreshore theft, not a squeak, but now their favourite hobby horse to beat Labour with has been done and dusted, they have nothing left to get on with.

You'd be screaming if it was National that had done this Bomber, and rightly so.
Nah - we are all to busy working and earning a fucking living to go out and protest.
You should try it one day, it might gow on you.
...
Mike E - ur sounding bitter, take the rest of the arvo off, it's friday
Good work Bomber - TV3 will be stoked.
"TV3 has been ordered to pay $3000 to a former magazine editor, after the Broadcasting Standards Authority (BSA) found it breached his privacy...in a television documentary called Stake Out: Models Exposed."
Bit of a fuck up, that one, eh? Any others in the closet?
...
Stake Out: Models Exposed included hidden camera footage of two photo shoots conducted by the then editor of a prominent men’s magazine. The item said that the photo shoots had been set up by Stake Out because “word around the modelling industry” was that the editor was “luring young girls into his bedroom for trial photo shoots with the promise of getting work in his magazine”.
The Authority concluded that the hidden camera footage was an intentional interference with XY’s interest in solitude and seclusion. The fact that the hidden cameras filmed inside his home, and inside an apartment where he had a reasonable expectation of privacy, amounted to an intrusion which the ordinary person would find offensive.
The BSA says we shouldn't have filmed what he was doing with the models inside his house, not that what he did was ethical.
...
Peter - you compare filming some models in a house to repealing habeas corpus? Jesus, that's desperate even for you
I personally favour destroying and desecrating all objects that reify materialism and worship DA MAN. Street violence has a purifying aspect to it that you cannot get with on-line petitions (Blair (aka the original Whig blogger) and the piss-antes who pass for progressive on this blog are clear indicators of the limp-dick syndrome at play these days). You have to back up your feeble dribble with action, and that is where SMASHING THE STATE, its SYMBOLS, or its REPRESSIVE AGENTS comes in.
But nooooo. You fucks want to either sign a petition or whinge about in on-line.
BTW--death to Amerika and death to the Zionist entity!! Death to the kapitalist klan roders who rule our lives!! Long live the anti-imperialist struggles of the brothers in Iran, North Korea and Venezuela, and their girlfriends like Brewer, Karlos and Keith! Praise Allah for all mercies to cum your way!
Oh, I must leave now 'cause I gotta get back to work
Hey Anono arse post your address - we'll come vist since you are in favour of the fact that -
"Street violence has a purifying aspect to it that you cannot get with on-line petitions."
Little puss left wingers whinging cause you've been caught out and now people are starting to complain.
What you pathetic lefties don't realise is that the world has moved on - its all about the net these days boys and boys, not about protesting in the streets - you guys might get it in about a decade but I won't hold my breath.
So are you and Boner mates Anon er arse?
Fair point, the right outnumbers the left on the blogosphere, but isn't really into protesting- I'm not sure whether that is a good thing or not.
Also, the left is better at producing collective blogs, such as this one.
The right seems to have a more individualistic approach to blogging, which I guess ties in with the idea of 'rugged individualism'
Ties in with "Rugged Individualism"? What on earth does tha have to do with protesting the right wing way?
I really have to laugh at that comment!
The other comment that tickles me is "Welfare State Government that we currently have".
You would not know a left wing government if one came up and bit you on the nose you silly person. The current Government is right of centre - unfortunately the band of school boys that make up the National opposition is inept and clueless as to what role they need to play or how to go about putting together a credible team to begin with.
I see full employment in NZ as a good thing, we still have a working health policy despite NAtional's attempts in the 90's to sabotage that and the Education system, and I've also seen good steps since Labour has been in the drivers seat to drastically curb welfare abuse, and reform social programs to benefit family's - not individual's. There's still a long way to go granted, but choosing a party that thinks it can use the Evangelical Right as a stepping stone to promote it's lack of competance to run the country is a real Amerikan-type stretch. Brash is a total airhead, and does not have the slightest clue how to represent NZ people in government. He represents a VERY narrow minority who are only good at making social controversy in opposition to anything that doesn't directly reward their personal interests. The rest of the party are just a bunch of mud slinging winghy whiners without a plan or hope of having one. When their's no talent on the team you don't win the Cup -EVER!
'....Mike E - ur sounding bitter, take the rest of the arvo off, it's friday .......'
Sneering, smug, contempt is your idea of humour - do you give your employee’s an afternoon off.
How about if you need to go to hospital or catch a bus and find everyone has gone home - obviously you have never had a real job.
By the way for the same reason never, ever, never rent a house to beneficiaries, they have nothing better to do than take false claims to the rental tribunal. People who work don’t have the time, or inclination, to waste their landlord’s time just for the fun of it.
Next time bomber is doing his good works (oh I forgot he only talks he doesn’t actually do anything) but those who do, next time you are telling a bunch of wasters their RIGHTS, do them a favour and tell them about their RESPONSIBILITIES as well.
...
Sam - bloody good post!
Oh and Anon, dude - you REALLY have to chill out. That's not sneering, it's more concern mixed with a little pity, try not to be so bitter.
