Dirty Filthy Muslims
Even though Iranian Hossein Yadegary ‘says’ he’s a Christian – how do we know? We all know those Middle Eastern types are Muslims terrorists, and even though Hossein has been locked up in an Auckland prison with another Iranian ‘Christian’ since 2004 – he represents a danger so great, we have to keep him in Prison. And the reason we are keeping these terrorists in Prison? Because they won’t sign papers that would allow us good and great NZers to issue Iranian passports and thus force them back to Iran. I mean I suppose the despicable way we bungled the Zaoui case with incompetence that can only come from a frightened white bureaucracy might make legitimate refugees doubt our good and great goodness as NZers, but they should sign these Iranian passport applications anyway – trust us – we wouldn’t stitch up someone from the Middle East and bounce them to whatever tortures await them in their home country the way we did with that guy who was a room mate of a 9/11 hijacker.
Now I know holding someone in Prison without any trial until they sign papers allowing us to remove them back to a country that tortures people might seem like the most despicable thing in the world, but you can’t trust these Islamofascists – they might fly a plane into the sky tower, and even though they say they are Christian – we know they aren’t really. It’s only lefties who will bitch about not allowing us to send people back to a country that might torture them, but lefties are faggots – didn’t you lefties hear? Muslims are to blame for everything!

Is it just me or is Boomer sounding like a bitter little sack of bile these days.
Maybe the realisation that he is wrong about alot of things is starting to set in and he is having problems reconciling his ego.

Maybe if Bomber had ever talked to a person on the RSAA he would have more of a clue. Instead he gets his info from one sided news stories like this one.
The article doesn't say, but from what I've been told, the odds are Hossein turned up at Auckland airport after flushing his forged passport and presented with a BS story. He has now had at least four formal hearings where he has had ample opportunity to tell his story and give evidence. Each hearing is in front of several (3 I think) legal experts who have been trained in and have a lot of experience in evaluating refugee claims. Collectively they will have seen and let into NZ many genuine refugees from Iran and so are not ignorant of the local conditions.
Hossein's appeals will have been rejected because they are satisfied he will not be at risk on his return. He does not have to prove he is at risk and his appeals would have been upheld if it they were vaguely plausible.
Sadly NZ gets a substantial number of false refugee claimants because we are seen as a soft touch internationally. These people should not be rewarded with a free pass for a number of reasons: they cast additional suspicion on genuine refugees, they take up space on the annual refugee quota, they are often fairly well off (can afford good fake passports and other documentation) yet consume resources intended for genuine refugees. Also letting them in simply encourages more to try it on.
Quite why Bomber thinks the Zaoui case is relevant to this one is a mystery. Hossein is not the subject to NZSIS interest and does not have a security risk certificate applying to him. Indeed the RSAA would have admitted Zaoui but for the certificate which they were obliged by law to accept. The RSAA were in not responsible for issuing or privy to the information behind the certificate applying to Mr Zaoui.

Anon - loved your little rant, but walk me through this - keeping someone in Prison indefinatly until they sign papers to allow them to be flown back to a country with an oppressive regime and a history of torture?

Can someone tell us what percentage (approx) of muslims have sympathy for terrorists or other extreme behaviour.
We are told it is a (tiny) minority so what are the figures and how was the evidence gained.
We are also told christians are ‘good’ I have never seen any real evidence of that. We are told they do good things, seems to me that a bit like saying the nazis provided nice fitness camps for children.
Anybody got any evidence of Iranian torture of apostates?
