Mass Detention Camps in America?

This year Halliburton was awarded nearly $400 million to build ‘Detention Camps’ inside America. Does it worry anyone that America is building massive detention camps inside America? Who are the detention camps for? How many people are they planning to ‘detain’ and does this detention have anything to do with the massive changes in the martial law powers reported by the Washington Post that Bush and Rumsfeld have made behind the scenes?

Terrifying. I see in the article that the 'detention' camps could be used for national disaster relief. Since when do you 'detain' disaster victims?

Putting Islam and Fascism together is so stupid. It's just like combining two unrelated things to make something real scary like I dunno, Redneck Nigger

absolutely. And peter, thats totally asinine. America is not at war with immigrants or disaster victims. Whats more, how can you say we shuold 'not be suprised?' And if we are suprised, does that imply we should not be concerned?

I am concerned that this is the start of something VERY nasty - I just don't believe that this is for 'disaster relief' - I heard a report on Radio Chomsky that suggested these detention camps were big enough to hold 3 million people - THAT IS A LOT OF 'REFUGEES' - and the new martial law powers are terrifying - something is afoot here - more details as they come to hand.

I think the USA should be more afraid of the 40 million people living in poverty there... they gonna rise up one day....
