Anderton's philosophical kin, Harry Anslinger, the US's first "Drug Czar"
On National Radio today Jim Anderton referred to himself as a "*chuckles to self* Drug Czar *chuckles to self*". A tin-pot, third rate propagandist who knows that if anyone feels good after taking a substance that it must be banned. What a cock. "Harm prevention"? more like "Happiness prevention".
Junkie daughters do suicide from time to time. I don't care who's fault that is - whether the parents are to blame, or whatever. It's a tragedy. Move the fuck on.

The man is a fruit loop. Perhaps if he wasn't such a manic himself his daughter might have confided in him. Having him involved in national drug policy is like putting Winston in charge of Asian immigration.
It sounds rough, I know. Last time I mentioned it in print I felt it was the only thing I should have left out - the Press Council thought I should of left the entire subject out, but that's a whole other story. I've just had too long of seeing him having anything to do with issues like this, let alone fucking up the rest of his portfolios. Why would Our Dear Leader keep him on? Masochism?
Jim is a nice enough chap - but how in hell he can be pleased calling himself the drug tzar is beyong even me - if you know ANYTHING about Anslinger - he was a fuckwit fundy Christian who had weed banned NOT because of any health concerns but because in getting states to ban weed, he increased his budget and power - the original arguements had more to do with fearmongering about mexicans fucking white woman than lung cancer
Weed was banned for commercial/industrial reasons, Anslinger just using the fearmongering about Mexicans and blacks to get popular support.
