BREAKING NEWS: NZ Herald searched by police – corrections file found plus 5 other copies
After I accused the NZ Herald of having the original file on TV ONE News, The NZ Herald was searched by the Police after they issued a search warrant for the missing Corrections file and found the original file PLUS 5 other copies.
I have been astounded by how irresponsible the Herald has been with the coverage of this issue by publishing names and details of those on the list, I had read the same report and while criticizing the situation based on the revelations in that report, I adhered to what Phil Goff asked as I also believed that publishing private and personal details would erode what little chance of rehabilitation these men have, and it astounds me that on this case it was actually the much maligned blogging community that actually lived up to journalistic standards well over and above the mainstream media.

Righteous anger.. I am reminded of sam l jackson giving his eponymous speech while he tucks into a big kahuna burger bomber!
You can guarantee the plod did not get every copy.. eh bomber, hope it is not down the back of the toilet cistern. That is the first place they look.

Hey - I've been upfront from the beginning - I went on the 6 oclock news and told the Herald to hand in their copies, they thought they were above the law, guess what - you ain't. The bloggers played by the journalistic rules the mainstream media didn't.
Change the record man! This is all that's on the site this week. Any more different stories?
