Citizen A on line now

Citizen A this week with Phoebe Fletcher and Matthew Hooton

Issue 1: Credit Downgrade - what the hell happened? Is Key's optimism misplaced and was the Radio Live show a bad mistake?

Issue 2: Search and surveillance powers - a bad look for Parliament or a great way to fight the crims?

Issue 3: $5 million more for the RWC grand piss up - with hospitality, hotels and restaurants claiming low turn over, when do we call this a lemon?

Citizen A now plays 8pm Stratos Freeview 21 & Sky 89 Fridays

This would be even better if the sound level were the same for all three participants. I've noticed it's always much harder to hear whoever is sitting on Bomber's left.

You are 100% right bomber.

The hype accompanying this rugby 'world' cup is unbelievable.

Hardly anyone around the world knows it is on. Not in Asia, Africa, the US, South America, the Middle East, or Europe.

The RWC will hardly be of any benefit to New Zealand in terms of elevating awareness of this country.

The third biggest sporting event drivel is just that ---'drivel'

The most watched game of the rugby world cup in 2007 was of course the final between South Africa and England.

The total worldwide audience for this event was a paltry 33 million.

The superbowl audience is 100 million.

The UEFA champions league final is an annual audience which garners in excess of 100 million television audience.

How many New Zealanders are aware of the Copa America, the Africa Cup of Nations, the Asian games?

Very few of course. Yet all of these events are several times bigger than the rugby world cup.

Snedden is nothing more than a snake oil salesman.
