After the nonsense of the 'ground zero mosque' (the one that is 2 and a half blocks away from 'ground zero' and past the Pink Pussy Cat Strip Bar) you would think American's had gotten over their latest Fox News inspired Muslim bashing, apparently not - what about this clown...
City tries to shake off 'embarrassment' of Koran-burning church
Many residents of the US city that could see a public bonfire of Korans say they feel embarrassed by the attention given to the initiative of the tiny Protestant church and reject any suggestion that it might be representative of the community. The Dove World Outreach Center, a Baptist church, plans to burn copies of the Koran on the anniversary of 9/11.
...now while the likes of Dr Ian over at MacDoctor would love to be stoking his bonfire with Korans, I'm not sure even the hard right baying mob of the NZ right wing blogosphere would willingly want to put our soldiers in any more danger than they currently are in by inspiring more anger by burning Korans, that said I'm always willing to be be proven wrong, as no one lost money betting against the hate of the right wing blogosphere.
Why burn the Koran? Surely Bibles burn better? Wacky religious types and their wacky religious crap, why can't we burn the Dove World Outreach Center instead and dump those crazy Islamists who stone women for adultery on the bonfire as well?
Book burning, it really doesn't get any more knuckle dragging than that.
