"MTV founded on a binge-drinking culture???"

Ummmm what? MTV is founded on a binge-drinking culture? Shouldn't that be of concern that such a statement would come out of the mouth of the NZ MTV 'star'?

"With this job there are no boundaries or age restrictions. It helps if you're 18, New Zealand and MTV are founded on a binge-drinking culture. We are a social company and a social team, you will be socialising five or six nights a week."

One would imagine at a time when our booze culture is under the microscope MTV NZ wouldn't be boasting about their brand being founded on binge-drinking??? It's also hilarious that this talking jaw doesn't seem to understand the irony of his own comments about being a 'star'...

"A lot of people go 'I'm a star, I'm a star'. You're not the talent, you're just the vehicle for the actual talent to be portrayed upon," Reeve explains.

"I struggle with the fact that New Zealand has celebrities anyway. If you've done a couple of cameos on Shortland Street you're on the A list and then it dribbles down from there.

...yes it certainly does dribble down and puddles into what is MTV. Shouldn't MTV vet their talking jaws a little better than this? MTV is a sexually transmitted cultural disease that promotes the excess of American consumer culture at a time when that consumer culture has been crippled by the economic global meltdown, becoming a new host on that network seems more akin to winning a ticket on the titanic.

Steady on big fella.
Without MTV we would not have Dirty Sanchez. Perhaps the best study of Welsh manhood ever documented, and Nailed, squashed, glued and set alight.
