99.9% of us don't attend demonstrations.
Does this imply that most of us don't have a conscience?
No it means that when the employment rights that you have enjoyed because of hundreds of years of trade union activity are finally taken away you have no one to blame but yourself.
I come from a long line of blue collar workers in NZ.
We all hate unions.

When the Maori party cuddle up to the National party and as a result later on many of their people end up being the ones mostly paying the biggest price.

So national are going to allow to trade holidays meaning that non-Christains can swap their easter holidays for days that are more significant such as Matariki or Diwali. Pretty inclusive and tolerant of them I would have thought.
