I enjoyed this. Great to see a TV programme with a focus on discussing news/political issues
I lost the picture a few times on my TV. I think it was ALWAYS when Selwyn Manning was talking for some reason.
Could it be improved? Maybe. I probably didn't learn anything more than what I'd seen on blogs during the week, except maybe with Phoebe elaborating a bit on the homeless issue.
Given the half hour slot, it was probably a very good use of the time: a recap of some of the arguments about the main issues of the week, (would be also very helpful for people who haven't had time to follow blogs during the week); then one issue foregrounded that provides some new perspectives or info.
It might have been good to have more direct discussion between the two guests?
I was expecting some news clips, but that would make the programme too expensive to produce.
