Peters fares badly in TVNZ trust poll

Peters fares badly in TVNZ trust poll
Greens co-leader Jeanette Fitzsimons is the most trusted party leader and NZ First's Winston Peters the least, a poll released tonight shows. The TV One/Colmar Brunton poll questioned 1010 voters, asking them to answer 'yes' or 'no' when they were asked whether they trusted six party leaders. Ms Fitzsimons scored 64 per cent, Prime Minister Helen Clark 59 per cent, National leader John Key 57 per cent, Maori Party co-leader Pita Sharples 54 per cent and ACT's Rodney Hide 50 per cent. But only 19 per cent said they trusted Mr Peters, and 75 per cent said they didn't trust him.

Incredible isn’t it, this poll shows Green co-leader Jeanette Fitzsimons is the most trusted politician, now that is a huge story in itself and a resurgent Green Party that is cannibalizing Labour support is the big news but no, where is the focus of this story – Winston fucking Peters – why is he the focus, how is he the focus the story, this is about the Greens and how there is a sea change in their fortunes yet it’s all about bloody Peters because he’s the one who throws a wobbly for the cameras.

Another 'sea change' eh?!

The Greens are definitely the dark horses in this election.

I would definately say that I trust Helen Clark

to screw up the country so badly we'll be paing for her efforts for at least five years!

Funny that so few people could trust WInston to do even that!

Trust is a strange word in a poll. Do you trust that the sun will rise tomorrow? Do you trust a serial killer will do it again if he isn't caught?

This election is about which party is trusted to do good things for the country, not which party we trust!
