Can Prime TV please stick with American Gladiator?

Billboards upset Jews
Prime TV has pulled billboards advertising a programme after the Jewish community complained. The billboards, in Auckland and Wellington, advertised Madmen: The Glory Years of Advertising and bore the slogan: "Advertising Agency Seeks: Clients. All business considered, even from Jews," the Dominion Post reported. Jewish Council chairman Geoff Levy said the project defied belief. "Long ago we moved on from this sort of language, but obviously not."
After their shocker of a doco (and I stretch that word to its broadest possible meaning, so much so it losses any meaning) that Global Warming is a hoax, followed up by a banal discussion hosted by a nervous Eric Young and the bloated echo chamber that is Leighton Smith, Prime go a step further by insulting people who are Jewish with a Billboard that is just gross and ill thought out, much like most of Primes programming. Oh and the doco next week in place of the ‘Global Warming Swindle’ – it’s a ‘doco’ about strange things people eat – oh yeah Prime, you are the intellectual powerhouse of NZ media.
Oh and if Global Warming is a great big hoax, how come Kiribati’s President, Anote Tong is here trying to cut a deal with NZ for evacuating his Island from rising tides? Let me guess what Leighton Smith would have to say, “He’s here because the cheeky darkie wants to live in NZ and bring all his mates, his Island isn’t really being swamped by rising sea levels, he’s just trying to slip his 94 000 friends into NZ and like a bunch of chumps we are letting him, it’s political correctness gone mad”.
Doomed Kiribati needs escape plan
Kiribati's President, Anote Tong, says his country may already be doomed by global warming - and he wants New Zealand and Australia to consider the issue of environmental refugees. "We may already be at the point of no return, where the emissions in the atmosphere will carry on contributing to climate change, so in time our small low-lying islands will be submerged," Mr Tong said yesterday in Wellington. Kiribati's highest point of land is just 2m above sea level, and under "worst-case" scenarios it will be flooded by the Pacific this century and its 94,000 people will have to be re-settled in other countries. Mr Tong, a graduate of the London School of Economics, said climate change "is not an issue of economic development, it's an issue of human survival".

Hehe - now who saw Kiribati and LSE and degree, and started thinking Immigration Dept and Mary Anne Thompson? Don't worry - quick check of LSE site shows Tong does actually have a degree from there... perhaps in 'demographic shifts induced by climate change'?
Seriously, I expect Labour & National will act like Tong is not even here, while still wining and dining him...
Did you see the American Gladiator billboard that was in town. It read: "Why America is the GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD....American Gladiators only on Prime..."
haha
